  7.  Subsidy programs
City of Montréal Bylaw 04-026, enacted pursuant to the current agreement on the cultural development of Montréal made between the Government of Québec and the City of Montréal, governs the granting of subsidies for the carrying out of eligible work:
  • for purposes of restoration and/or renovation of a building with recognized heritage value;
  • for purposes of archeological digs in a vacant lot of archeological interest located within the historic district of Old Montréal.

There is no specific deadline for submitting a request; they are accepted and processed on a continual basis. To check on the availability of funds or for more information on what is required to apply for a subsidy, contact:
